SikaTop Seal 107 is a premium, two-part, polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing slurry coat. Comprising a liquid polymer (Part A) and a cement-based powder blend with special admixtures (Part B), it is engineered to deliver highly reliable internal and external waterproofing protection on concrete, mortar, brickwork, and masonry surfaces.

Application Instructions

1. Substrate Preparation

The surface must be completely sound, clean, and free of dirt, oil, curing agents, laitance, grease, or loose debris. Repair any structural cracks or honeycombs before application. Crucial Step: Thoroughly pre-wet the clean substrate with water until it reaches a saturated surface dry (SSD) condition, ensuring there are no puddles of standing water remaining before applying the slurry.

2. Mixing Protocol

Shake Part A (liquid) well and pour it into a clean mixing container. While mixing slowly with a low-speed electric paddle mixer (max 500 rpm), slowly add Part B (powder). Mix thoroughly for 3 minutes until you achieve a smooth, creamy, lump-free consistency. Do not add water or alter the pre-packed mixing ratio.

3. Execution & Placement

Always apply SikaTop Seal 107 in a minimum of two coats.

• First Coat: Apply using a stiff-bristled brush or trowel. Work the slurry well into the surface, brushing in one direction.

• Second Coat: Wait approximately 4 to 8 hours for the first coat to dry (it should be dry to the touch but not fully cured). Apply the second coat perpendicular (at a 90-degree angle) to the first coat to guarantee full, uniform coverage without pinholes.

4. Curing

Protect the freshly applied slurry from direct sunlight, high winds, and rain for at least 3 days. Use damp burlap hessian sheets or polythene film to aid proper hydration and prevent rapid drying cracks. Wait at least 7 days before filling water tanks or applying ceramic tiling over the system.
